Our Story
It started in a one-room apartment — and a gym.
Before Coitonic existed, there was just a gym guy with a problem. I trained regularly, I cared about my sessions, and I kept running into the same frustration — the gym wear I wanted either didn't exist in India or cost more than it had any right to. Compression that worked. Joggers that didn't split at the seams mid-squat. Fabrics that didn't turn into wet rags twenty minutes in. And all of it without paying ₹3,500 for a foreign logo.
The gap was obvious. Indian athletes deserved better — better gear, better prices, and a brand that understood how people train in India. So instead of waiting for someone else to fill it, we started building. In a one-room apartment, with nothing but a clear vision and a genuine need to solve it.
And we mean that literally. That one room was everything. The design table was in the corner. The cutting and stitching happened in the middle of the floor. Marketing ran off a laptop on the same desk where we packed orders. Inventory stacked along the walls. Packaging done by hand. Design, production, marketing, packaging, and inventory — all of it, under one roof, in one room. It wasn't glamorous. But it was ours, and it worked.
That was the beginning of Coitonic — launched as a premium lifestyle and activewear brand for men and women who take fitness seriously. Not a generic gym store. Not a catalogue of basics. A brand built by someone who trains, for everyone who trains.
We started with the pieces that matter most: compression wear that genuinely supports your muscles through a heavy session, joggers cut wide enough for real squats and styled well enough for everywhere else, and tees that hold their shape through sixty washes — not six. Every single piece was put through the same test that serious training puts everything through: heat, pressure, and repetition.
Today, Coitonic is a growing community of athletes, gym-goers, and everyday active people across India who refuse to settle. Our range covers everything from our compression series to acid wash joggers, from training stringers to everyday track pants — for men and for women, built for the Indian body, Indian climate, and Indian budget.
